One thing I am yet to figure out is cravings that I experience at work. I crave stuff which you cannot ever see me eat outside of work. I crave chips, cheap candy, cheap crackers and cookies. Outside of work, you will never ever ever see me eat these things. In fact, you cannot pay me enough to eat these things. Yuck. But at work I desperately crave these things. And I do not like it because I work hard at the gym and I do not want to ruin my results. Additionally, eating shit like this affects your skin in a big way.
Several people at work also did mention how much they do not like the environment and that’s what’s I am picking up on – the overall vibe x 1000, in an empath fashion.
I am going to figure it out. We, empaths, deserve to live happy and healthy lives and if you normally do not crave junk, there is no way it is normal you crave it when surrounded by other people.
I realize we don’t know each other, I’m going to leave you a quick response though… You might be experiencing something that’s causing you to need fast calories. J. S.

Nice to meet you! And thank you for the comment @shankjoejoe. I will research fast calories. Definitely do not want to eat crap when energy around me gets too much. I never eat just outside of work. In fact, I find it disgusting.

Isn’t that interesting! Thanks for sharing. I went through a similar experience. We may either be reacting to the environment or we may be absorbing other people’s cravings. Check out Dr Judith Orloff, if you haven’t yet. She has a book called “The Empath Survival Guide” and she talks a lot about empath cravings.

Hi! Good point on possibly absorbing other people’s cravings. That might be it. And thanks for mentioning Judith Orloff. I am her patient actually. Learning a ton from her.
